Amira Ben Saoud
Amira Ben Saoud, *1989 in Waidhofen/Thaya (Lower Austria), studied Classical Philology, Art History and Comparative Literature in Vienna. She also completed one of these studies. She was editor-in-chief of the pop culture magazine The Gap and worked for several years as culture editor for the Austrian daily newspaper DER STANDARD and as a freelance journalist. For the work on her debut novel, which will be published by Zsolnay in 2025, she has already received a working grant from the City of Vienna and the Hans-Weigel-Literaturstipendium from the Province of Lower Austria.
