Dieter Thomä

Dieter Thomä, born in 1959, is Professor of Philosophy at the University of St. Gallen, where he heads the Management-Organization-Culture master's program. He has been a fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and a visiting professor at Brown University/USA, among others. He writes regularly for the FAZ and other newspapers and magazines. His book publications include Puer robustus. Eine Philosophie des Störenfrieds (2016), Väter. Eine moderne Heldengeschichte (2008), and Warum Demokratien Helden brauchen (2019).
