Jörg Baberowski
Jörg Baberowski, born in 1961, studied history and philosophy and has been Professor of the History of Eastern Europe at the Humboldt University in Berlin since 2002. His publications include: Der Rote Terror. Die Geschichte des Stalinismus (2003), Der Sinn der Geschichte. Geschichtstheorien von Hegel bis Foucault (2005), Verbrannte Erde. Stalins Herrschaft der Gewalt (2012) und Räume der Gewalt (2015) . Verbrannte Erde was awarded with the Prize of Leipziger Book Fair in 2012 and was on the Spiegel bestseller list for several weeks.
