Sabine Hofmann
Sabine Hofmann was born in Bochum, studied Romance and German Studies, and holds a doctorate in Linguistics. Together with Rosa Ribas, she has written the Barcelona trilogy The Whisper of the City, The Great Cold and On the Other Side of the Ramblas. This was followed by Trümmerland, Totenwinter, and Kopfgeld, three novels whose plots are set in the post-war Ruhr region.
