Susanne Gregor
Susanne Gregor, born in 1981 in what was then Czechoslovakia, came to Austria with her parents in 1990.
In 2010, she won the Schreiben zwischen den Kulturen prize, in 2011 her debut Kein eigener Ort (edition exil) was published, the novel was shortlisted for the Alpha Literature Prize. This was followed by the novels Territorien (Droschl) and Das letzte rote Jahr (FVA), her latest novel Wir werden fliegen (FVA) was nominated for the Austrian Book Prize.
