Sven Stricker

Sven Stricker was born in Tönning in 1970 and grew up in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He studied comparative literature, English and modern history. Since 2001 he has worked as a freelance word director, editor and author, and in this capacity has won the German Audiobook Award several times. With Sörensen hat Angst, Sven Stricker was nominated for the Glauser Prize in 2017, and the film adaptation of the same name won the German Television Crime Prize in 2021 as well as the Austrian Romy Television Award. In 2022, Stricker was awarded the Grimme Prize for the screenplay. He lives in Potsdam and has a daughter.
