Verena Güntner
Verena Güntner, born in Ulm in 1978, acted in theater for many years after studying acting. Her debut novel Es bringen (2014) was adapted for the stage and awarded the German Audiobook Prize. Verena Güntner has received numerous prizes and scholarships, including the Kelag Prize at the Bachmann Competition and the Berlin Senate Scholarship. Power was nominated for the Prize of the Leipzig Book Fair in 2020 and the Schubart Literature Promotion Prize in 2021. Verena Güntner lives in Berlin.
