Kristina Wacker
After years of working as a freelance journalist, Kristina Wacker studied scientific librarianship and completed a postgraduate course in media education at the Freiburg University of Education. After her work in the DFG research group Historical Lifeworlds in Popular Knowledge Cultures of the Present at the University Freiburg she was a lecturer for film pedagogy at the University of Education Freiburg and coordinated the congress with the working group Integrative Film Didactics New Paths of Film Education 2015. In May 2017 she published the textbook Understanding and communicating film worlds. The practice book for teaching and learning, in which she presents methods and approaches of film didactics on the basis of 20 film classics.
