Annegret Liepold

Annegret Liepold, born in Nuremberg in 1990, studied comparative literature and political science in Munich and Paris. Her novel project Franka was awarded the Leonhard and Ida Wolf Memorial Prize for Literature by the City of Munich in 2019 and invited to the novel workshop at the Literaturforum des Brechthauses and the 15th writing workshop of the Jürgen Ponto Foundation. She was a finalist in the 30th open mike with an excerpt from her novel project Sand and received the City of Munich Literature Scholarship in 2023. She works for the Bavarian Academy of Writing at the Literaturhaus München.
