Bettina Schuler
Bettina Schuler studied theater, film and television studies, history and German language and literature at the University of Cologne and then completed a degree in journalism at the University of Television and Film in Munich. Since 2002, she has worked as a freelance author for newspapers and magazines such as Frankfurter Rundschau, ray Filmmagazin and Spex. Her first book Schlachtfeld Elternabend (2014) immediately climbed the Spiegel bestseller list. For her latest book Das Weltretter ABC (2022), she spent a year researching sustainability together with author Anne Weiss.
Bettina Schuler is the founder of the non-profit organization Citizen2be, which offers free mental health training for refugee women, young people and children throughout Germany.
