Christoph Callenberg
Christoph Callenberg was born in Bonn in 1974. After studying law at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelm University in Bonn and at the Free University of Berlin, he worked as a corporate lawyer and attorney in Cologne and Berlin. From 2003 to 2005, he studied at the DFFB. Since then, he has been working successfully as a freelance screenwriter and lecturer in creative writing, including at the Buch-Akademie Berlin. Together with Andreas Resch, he wrote several episodes for Letzte Spur Berlin. He has contributed several essays and reviews to the screenplay almanac Scenario (Bertz & Fischer Verlag), edited by Jochen Brunow. To date, Christoph Callenberg has written more than 40 screenplays for series and feature films, including Ein Fall für Zwei, SOKO Wismar, Der Staatsanwalt, Letzte Spur Berlin, Die Küstenwache, Die Heiland - Wir sind Anwalt, Polizeiruf 110, and Legal Affairs. Following the success of Finstermoor, written together with Andreas Resch, they are now working together on Der Hakenmann. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the countryside near Cologne/Bonn.
