Christoph Koch is a freelance journalist, lecturer and SPIEGEL bestselling author. Born in Munich in 1974, he studied communication sciences, sociology and political science in Münster (Westphalia) and Athens (Ohio). He writes for brand eins, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and SZ-Magazin, Die ZEIT and the ZEIT-Magazin, among others. His book Ich bin dann mal offline – Leben ohne Internet und Handy was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for several weeks. Christoph Koch is married and lives in Berlin.
