Claudia Schaumann

Claudia Schaumann, born in 1977, studied to be a primary school teacher, but after her traineeship she quit her job because she really wanted to write. After various internships and freelance work for well-known magazines, daily newspapers and radio, Claudia Schaumann began a traineeship at a major Hamburg publishing house. After this journalistic training, she worked for several years as an editor at the women's magazine Maxi. Because she missed writing so much during her second parental leave, she founded the blog WASFÜRMICH.
A few years and three more children later, the blog has become a successful online magazine for families with up to 70,000 readers a month. On the side, Claudia Schaumann writes books and works as a teacher to inspire children for art, theater and stories.
