Hannelore Hippe

Hannelore Hippe has been working as a freelance author for many years now. She wrote numerous radio features for the ARD as well as radio plays, audio books and screen-plays. She published several fiction and non-fiction titles and has been awarded many prizes. Her manuscript Eiszeiten was the basis for the movie Zwei Leben that was nominated in the foreign films catagorie of the Oscars Academy Award in 2013. She lived in Ireland and Great Britain for many years and her writing style has been influenced by Anglo-American writers. Nowadays she lives in Cologne, at the river Moselle and in Norway.
