Ilija Matusko
Ilija Matusko, born in 1980, studied sociology and political science.
He lives and works as a freelance writer in Berlin. For his
work, he has received numerous fellowships, including one from the
Fritz Hüser Institute for Literature and Culture of the Working World and a
fellowship at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. In 2023,
Verdunstung in der Randzone was published by Suhrkamp. In the fall of 2026,
his debut novel Jugo will be published.
