Jaqueline Scheiber
Jaqueline Scheiber, born in 1993, raised bilingual in Hungarian and German. She is an author and a qualified social worker in Vienna. She has published six titles, including the bestseller Dreimeterdreißig (nominated for the Harbourfront Debut Prize). In her essays, poetry and prose, she explores social issues and identity. On her Instagram account @jaquelinescheiber (45k followers), she shares impressions from her everyday life as a freelancer, discusses socially critical topics and reviews culture (theatre, books, film). Scheiber sees literature as a medium for debate and mediation between art and society.
