Jose Adiak Montoya
José Adiak Montoya, born in 1987 in Managua, lives and works as a journalist and author in Mexico City. He has published poetry, short prose and had a great success with his debut novel El Sótano del Ángel in 2011. In 2010 he won the national competition of the Centro Nicaragüense de Escritores and in 2012 he received a scholarship of the national art and culture fund FONCA in Mexico. In 2015 he won the Premio Centroamericano Carátula de Cuento and was a guest at the MEET, Maison des Écrivains Étrangers et des Traducteurs de Saint-Nazaire in France.
