Julia Rothenburg
Julia Rothenburg was born in Berlin in 1990. She studied sociology and political science in Freiburg and Berlin. In 2017, her debut novel Koslik ist krank was published by Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt, for which she received the Retzhof Prize for Young Literature in 2015. Her second book hell/dunkel followed in 2019. In the same year, she received the annual scholarship for literature from the state of Baden-Württemberg. In March 2021, her third novel Mond über Beton was published, for which she was awarded the Bayern2 Wortspiele Prize 2021 and the Meißner Literature Prize 2021.
