Kathrin Hartmann

Kathrin Hartmann, born 1972 in Ulm, studied art history, philosophy and Scandinavian studies in Frankfurt. She worked as an editor for news and politics at Frankfurter Rundschau and Neon. Her project on green washing The Green Lie became a great success in 2018, both as a documentary (together with director Werner Boote) and as a book. Kathrin Hartmann lives and works in Munich. She writes for Die Süddeutsche Zeitung, Der Freitag and Die Frankfurter Rundschau. Her socially critical books receive wide attention and are published in several countries.
