Laura Dürrschmidt
Laura Dürrschmidt, born in 1994 in Seligenstadt am Main, studied Book Studies and British Studies in Mainz, where she specialized in typography. In 2020, she won an award at the jungen Literaturforum Hessen-Thüringen and took part in the Jürgen Ponto Foundation's novel workshop in Edenkoben. Her debut Es gibt keine Wale im Wilmersee was published by Ecco Verlag in 2021. Laura Dürrschmidt lives in Leipzig.
