María Sofía de la Vega
Sofía de la Vega, born in 1993 in San Miguel de Tucumán, studied Literature at the National University of Tucumán and is currently pursuing her PhD at IIBICRIT–CONICET. In 2022, she was awarded the Pulgrant Fellowship from Princeton’s Firestone Library. Since 2015, she has been an organizer of the Tucumán International Literature Festival (FILT). Her short story collection De los potrillos nacen ríos was published by Alfaguara in 2025. She won the 5th Todos los tiempos el tiempo Prize in 2024 for her novel Muñecas, forthcoming from Alfaguara in 2027.
