Silja Ukena
Silja Ukena, born in 1975, studied at the Axel-Springer School of Journalism as well as History of Art and Political Science in Hamburg and Paris. From 1998 to 2010 she worked as a freelance journalist and literary critic for Brigitte, Stern, KulturSPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT and Süddeutsche Zeitung. Since 2010 she works as an editor at the House of World Cultures in Berlin. Ukena is a crime writer and lives in Berlin.
