Theo Parker
Theo Parker is a certified psychologist. He lives in Berlin and works as a freelance science journalist. In his articles (https://theoparker.de/), he combines topics from psychology with current social debates. He enjoys presenting controversial issues in a factual and easily understandable way, for example, topics related to sexuality, drug policy, or psychiatry. His articles have appeared in Psychologie Heute, Gehirn & Geist, Zeit Online, Scientific American and online at Spektrum der Wissenschaft, among others. In 2016, he was awarded the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism (category: young talent) for his writing. He also works as a therapist, most recently in forensic psychiatry in Brandenburg. His first book, “Alles auf einmal, und zwar jetzt!” (Everything at once, and now!), on ADHD in adults, will be published by C.H. Beck in 2025.
