Tobias Hürter, born in 1972, studied Philosophy and Mathematics in Munich and Berkeley on a scholarship by the German Research Association. He wrote for several German magazines including Spiegel and was editor at MIT Technology Review as well as DIE ZEIT. Since 2008, he has been working as an editor for the scientific magazine PM in Munich. Tobias Hürter writes about scientific topics with philosophical impact, for example sleep, death and political rhetoric and is an expert in the field of extraterrestrial physics. He has published several successful narrative nonfiction books.
