Veronika Peters
Veronika Peters, born in 1966 in Giessen, spent her childhood in Germany and Africa. At the age of 15, she left her parental home, worked in different jobs, and trained as an educator. She worked in a psychiatric youth home until she left so-called bourgeois life for twelve years at the end of 1987 and entered a Benedictine abbey. She writes autobiographical stories and novels.
Veronika Peters is married to the writer Christoph Peters, has a daughter and lives as a freelance writer in Berlin.
