Yuko Kuhn

Yuko Kuhn was born in Munich in 1983. She studied cultural economics with a focus on the French-speaking cultural area in Passau and Aix-en-Provence. After her studies she spent one year in Japan at the cultural department of the Goethe Institute Tokyo. Since 2009 she has been working in project management within the cultural sector (dance, film, visual arts, art in architecture projects). In 2018 she took on a position at the HFF / University of Television and Film Munich. She came to writing through her work there at the Chair of Creative Writing with Prof. Doris Dörrie. Her debut novel Onigiri will be published by Hanser Berlin in autumn of 2025. She lives in Munich with her husband and their three children.
